History

Our story began on July 22, 1992, when Bishop Buechlein appointed Father Milton Guthrie to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church to promote the development of a Catholic school. The dedication of the new school facility was in September of 2001.
Sister Grace Saia, SCN, who arrived in 1993 to facilitate the formation of the preschool and kindergarten, later became the first principal of the newly formed OLPH School in 1996. Ms. Mary Ann Wehrum became the principal in the fall of 2000 and Ms. Patricia A. Wyckoff took over the role of principal in 2003 after serving as a kindergarten teacher at OLPH for seven years.
In 2006, we celebrated the tenth anniversary of OLPH Catholic School and held a graduation Mass for the first eighth grade graduating class. Mrs. Lynn C. Lifsey joined the staff at OLPH as assistant principal in July of 2006.
At the end of the 2015-2016 school year, Mrs. Patricia Wyckoff retired after serving as Principal for 13 years. Mrs. Cristy Sneed served as Principal from 2016 – 2023 ushering in years of student enrollment growth as well as an emphasis on the school’s STEM program. In 2018, with Mrs. Lifsey’s retirement, Mrs. Elise Rodriguez was hired as the assistant Principal.
